Terms of Service

Draft prepared October 28, 2026 · Review before publication

These Terms of Service govern your use of Popcorn'd, a service for tracking movies and television, reviewing titles, and participating in community discussions. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

Provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and do not access other people's accounts without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law.

Community conduct

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate others, spam, evade restrictions, distribute malware, or post unlawful content. Mark spoilers using available tools and respect other users. We may moderate, restrict visibility, remove content, or suspend accounts to protect the community and comply with legal obligations.

Your content

You retain ownership of original content you create. By posting to Popcorn'd, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the service, solely as reasonably needed to operate and promote the service, subject to applicable law. You must have the rights necessary to post your content and may not infringe others' intellectual property rights.

Entertainment information and third parties

Movie and TV artwork, metadata, and third-party GIFs may be provided by their respective rights holders or information providers. Their availability and accuracy are not guaranteed. Links or integrations with other services may be governed by separate terms.

Service availability

Popcorn'd may change or discontinue features, and occasional outages may occur. We provide the service on an "as available" basis, subject to protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Account termination and deletion

You can stop using the service at any time and use the in-app account deletion option. We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations, fraud, or legal or safety reasons, where permitted by law.

Liability and disputes

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional liability limits, governing-law provisions, or dispute resolution arrangements should be finalized with qualified legal advice before public launch.

Updates and contact

We may update these Terms when necessary and will provide notice where required. Questions? Email [email protected]. Configure this inbox before publishing.
